We are launching a developer program where selected developers get access to our APIs and can build applications or embed their products to Xiha. The developers will receive premium support from us, including customizing the API calls to their needs and helping with the integration. We will also promote their applications (to our members, and by issuing a press release and possibly doing other marketing) once the integration has been finished to help maximize the success of their app.
The idea is that it's so much easier to get noticed in a community like Xiha than it is on Facebook. We see a ton of apps on Facebook which have hundreds or a few thousand users. With Xiha it would be possible to reach 10 to 100 times larger of an audience with minimal effort. We don't require exclusivity, but we allow very deep integration which means that it will be possible to do things on Xiha that it is not possible to do with apps on other social networks.
All of this means that the participation is limited and we pick only innovative, high quality apps that add value to the community.
