By car:
- Arriving at Cape Town International Airport, take the N2 to Cape Town.
- Once the motorway forks, follow the right fork (Eastern Boulevard).
- When you get to the junction at the end of the motorway (at the
Waterfront), you will see the Cape Town Convention Centre (CTICC) to
your left.
- Cross over the traffic lights and turn right at the next set of traffic lights.
- Continue straight ahead, following the signs to Sea Point/Camps Bay.
- Carry on straight ahead at the large roundabout, past Green Point Stadium and Virgin Active Gym and Tennis Club (all on the right-hand side).
- Continue straight ahead at the next set of traffic lights and enter Beach
Road.
- Follow Beach Road for approximately 3 km, until you get to a smaller
roundabout.
- Turn left onto Queens Road, then take the first road to your right (Alexander Road).
- The Protea Hotels President is the second hotel on your left.
The Protea Hotel President is just 5 minutes from the famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront and Two Oceans Aquarium, as well as Clifton and Camps Bay Beach. The Table Mountain cable way is 10 minutes away and the international airport can be reached in 25 minutes.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities along the Sea Point Main Road, around the corner from the hotel. The Sea Point promenade is a popular jogging and walking spot for locals.
